When you use the JustDarts App, certain technical data is automatically collected to provide our services, including device type, operating system, IP address (shortened/anonymized), app version, and usage logs. This helps us ensure security and optimize performance.
If you choose to receive push notifications, we process data related to your device token to deliver them. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
If you contact us (e.g. by email or form), we process your contact data to respond to your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in answering inquiries.
We use analytics and advertising tools to understand app usage and improve our offering, and display relevant advertisements. Data is processed in pseudonymized form wherever possible. Some data may be stored using cookies or similar technologies, based on your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
We use Google AdMob, a mobile advertising service. The service provider is Google Inc., a company incorporated under the laws of the United States. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, the responsible entity for Google services is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google may process personal data in the United States and other third countries. Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures an adequate level of protection for personal data transferred from the European Union to participating organizations in the United States. Furthermore, Google relies on Standard Contractual Clauses in accordance with Article 46(2)(c) and (d) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These clauses are approved by the European Commission and provide appropriate safeguards for the transfer of personal data to third countries. By incorporating these Standard Contractual Clauses, Google undertakes to ensure that personal data processed outside the European Economic Area is subject to a level of protection essentially equivalent to that guaranteed within the EEA, even where such data is processed, stored, or otherwise handled in the United States.
The Standard Contractual Clauses are based on an implementing decision of the European Commission. The relevant decision and the applicable clauses are available at: https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/dec_impl/2021/914/oj

Your data is only shared where legally permitted — for example, with service providers who help us operate the app (hosting, analytics, email services). These providers are carefully selected, contractually bound, and process data only according to our instructions.
If data is transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA, we ensure an adequate level of protection, e.g. through EU Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law. Afterwards, data is deleted or anonymized.
You have the following rights under the GDPR:
To exercise these rights, please contact us via contact@justdarts.net. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, e.g. the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
